The APEAL lab has collaborative relationships with researchers at many other universities. Internationally, these include researchers in the U.S.A. (Harvard University, Smith College), the United Kingdom (University of Cambridge, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine), South Africa (University of the Witwatersrand), Australia (Deakin University), and Norway (University of Bergen, University of Oslo). Closer to home, the lab collaborates with researchers from the McMaster University Departments of Family Medicine and Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, the University of Calgary Departments of Psychiatry and Community Health Sciences, Dalhousie University Department of Psychiatry, and the University of Alberta School of Public Health and Departments of Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and Psychology. Finally, the lab has many collaborative relationships within Ottawa, including with researchers at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES).
